How long until Trump ships tests to India and Brazil so they can surpass the US as #1?

On one show, he filmed 19 episodes in four days.

Holy s***.

From everything I’ve heard, he’s a machine. I’ve also heard his productions aren’t particularly fun to work on because of that, but at the same time, people appreciate that he can do it.

Sample size of one, but my shortest day as an extra was on a Tyler Perry movie. Typical crosses in the background, two hours total.

Stories about his workflow are insane. I know a guy who went to ATL to test for one of his shows. Perry pops into the test from the set of a “Medea” movie, in full costume (he’s also directing), watches for 30 seconds, and bases his decision off that.

Same guy books the series. At some point I have a commercial for him. When an actor is on a show they need approval from the studio so it doesn’t conflict with sponsors. So we email their business affairs and have an answer in 15 minutes - from Tyler Perry. Business affairs just forwarded him the email and he just replied all and said “no problem”. It never, ever, ever happens that way.

This guy said that people who hadn’t worked with him before would come to do a guest star, show up on set, go through the scene once, and then be like “ok now I’m ready to really do it” only to be told that they were done, Perry was on to the next scene.

For the Big 12 id guess that is mostly true but over all football and sports cost most schools money.

Sports are basically paid for by student fees and government subsidizes.

I was joking. No way I’d even think about live poker.

It was a Colorado BJ’s.

Wasn’t it GtrHtr not Cha?

I went with you because I wasn’t really up for a strip club. Of course if I had known it was going to be a $32k all time epic blowout, I’d have sucked it up and gone. Also if you weren’t around as an option I’d have gone to the Rhino. So in that sense, yeah it’s clearly your fault.

Might have been. I was debating between the two of them when I posted. Sorry GtrHtr if you’re lurking. We got the hotel with Cha though, right?

As in shared a hotel room? I stayed at Sahara that trip.

Were there two different trips? Didn’t we share a hotel room with Cha once? Maybe it was GtrHtr? Maybe just me and GtrHtr and we met you at the Nugget? Long time ago.

Yeah I think that last thing. I played in a $2k tourney, I was out there for about 5 days, staying at the Sahara.

Would you play poker outdoors with plexiglass dividers? In 112 degree weather?

I notice that some other Califonia poker rooms such as Ocean’s 11 and lolStones are going with outdoor rooms.

I’m gonna be pissed if he didn’t have a documentary crew on board shooting BTS of how he accomplished this magnificent feat.

Back in 2010, I was recruited to work for Tyler Perry Studios. It was big money, and I think they might have also paid a housing stipend (can’t remember for sure). I didn’t live in Atlanta and wasn’t super hot on going there. I also didn’t understand why he kept recruiting L.A. people to work there in post as essentially union busting freelancers (they touted how Georgia was right to work when trying to recruit me, which meant union rates without having to join the union).

By that time, Atlanta had a robust film industry and I felt like I would be taking a job that should have gone to someone who lived there. I went right up to the final interview when I was supposed to talk with a major production executive there. For whatever reason, that interview never happened though I was told to expect one. I wasn’t bothered by that and hope the job went to someone who lived in Atlanta.

It’s a real skill to know what you want, get set up for what you want, know you have it, and not waste time. Regardless of what anyone thinks of his taste or the quality of his stuff, he’s a master at what he does and he might be the only person in the industry capable of what he does. I always thought if anyone could set the standard for getting back to work in Hollywood it would be him. The only thing I really didn’t like about his plan was constant Abbott testing. It must have been really unpleasant for everyone there, but they got it done.

I dont know how the growth thing works as good as you but pretty sure the school i work at will be passing the county totals since this started within two or three weeks.

Before the kids got back we had around 270 in the county. School has almost fifty so far doubling every week or so. Plus local rumors have it the cops broke up some big fraternity parties this weekend. Was driving home tonight and smelled campfires by the lake so most likely partying going on.

Campus pres sent out an email today saying how well we are doing compared to other schools. But most of the letter was behave yourselves type stuff. Basically between the lines she knows whats coming.

Not sure what they expected. Lock a bunch of twenty somethings in their homes with mom and dad for months and then set them free. Yup…

Think the number for shutdown is 300 (though they dont really tell us) so id guess we will be shutdown in maybe three weeks or less. Though i would not be surprised if they try to push it to the no refund date.

One of my dumb friends went to a rave outdoors in the big bear mountains. I mean its outside and most people were wearing masks but still…

Anyways he says the cops showed up… and told them the cars were blocking the fire road. And that they better turn the music back on or else everyones in trouble. Like they were dancing and having fun. Apparently there was like 100 people there and the cops gave ZERO fucks.

Well alright then… I wonder if some cops are trying to win back public trust or some shit? That’s unheard of at parties that don’t have permits. Like the ones I go to have permits and insurance so cops can’t do shit but fuck off. But this one had no permits, not insurance, and in the middle of a fucking pandemic and the cops were just like party on bros just unblock the fire lanes because there are big fires and all.

A ton of the PLO regs are playing a private game nearly every night of the week here (OKC). 9 handed. No masks or precautions. Multiple guys in their 60s and 70s playing, and two that I know of had heart surgery in the last few years. This is after one of the more well known regs (bracelet winner in the 80s) in the region died of (probable) COVID early on in the pandemic.

I’m fucking dumbfounded and hope they don’t get someone killed. But the greedy fucks running the game have to get their $10+/hand rake.
