It was a very well thought out plan.
It allowed them to charge full tuition.

That movie is T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E.
Let’s do it.
Almost done with my big CA-NV-WY-CO-UT-AZ driving/camping/family-russian-roulette trip. So far no Rona.
Glad to see masks in most places - with the exception being Provo for some reason (considering they have BYU - you’d think they’d be out in front of this), some podunk towns in Wyoming, and of course - the big gas station near the Lake Powell boat ramp. Boaters = WOAT.
There is no such thing as 50% masks. It’s either 100% or <10%. Humans.
Moab, Jackson Hole, all of CO - all masks. You’d almost think covid was over as crowded as everything is.
Except for Navajo Nation, which is completely shut down - including Four Corners. I guess they got tired of idiot boomer bikers giving them covid.
Masks + status quo and it seems like we could really be seeing this thing drop. But instead it’s back to school YOLO no brakes on this train.
Really looks like opening up schools has shifted the curve upward here.
More like the native people got wise after Europeans introduced smallpox and syphilis and measles and typhoid and etc. to the New World.
They had a massive disaster with Rona back in May.
Tenet made $20 million at the U.S. box office this weekend. Cool cool cool.
I 1000% see Tenet in theaters this past weekend in normal times…but yeah…
It would have made 200M if no pandemic
Clearly lots of people who contemplated sending money to help desperate Africans and instead decided to buy trivial stuff for themselves, have been influenced by a knowledge of Somalia type examples. It was not necessary for you to point out that they were making the correct decision. A poster on twoplustwo.com named Toothsayer has already explained this in detail.
We just drove past Harrisonburg yesterday. A town I had never heard of.
Lol USA#1. This is the worst possible way to manage the virus. We might as well have 500+ sponsored Covid parties around the country over mid August to mid September and then Send everyone home. Collectively it may be worse than Sturgis.
Moar on colleges
A week into the Czech school year AND…
25 schools classes have had limited classes due to covid19
3 schools have closed indefinitely
There’s talk of providing teachers with respirators but nothing planned yet.
Goes without saying that it’s a matter of a few days before those 25 are also closed indefinitely
Also a group of my students went to Italy on a school trip (yeah my school is full of rich kids) for the week. I’m sure they’ll have plenty of covid to share with everybody.
Also, the Czech government is no longer tracing all covid cases. They will now trace “serious cases”. This means if I come into contact with somebody who had covid, I would not have to quarantine or go for a covid test unless I was symptomatic. This means fewer tests will be conducted.
It’s basically a fancy way of describing the Donald Trump plan for lowering the number of cases. Fewer tests, fewer cases.
So yeah, Czech Republic is joining America in the we’re massively fucking up our covid response and not giving a shit about people dying.
Ugh - I’ve got the worst drive ever - Vegas to LA after a holiday weekend ahead of me. Now with 1000% more smoke! Should I stop in Vegas on my way back to LA and play some 2/5 just to extend the Russian Roulette vacay?
Must be nice to get results back before you’re either well or dead.
Poker at the tail end of a busy weekend in Vegas has to be one of the highest risk activities possible.
