COVID-19: Chapter 5 - BACK TO SCHOOL

Not surprising

Orgies are one of the higher risk activities during the pandemic

If you are a vaccine company that wants to make money (stocks!!!) then get your trial data to the FDA by end of October and it’ll be approved in record time so it can be announced before the election. Get that announcement and the huge stock increase then cash out those options, baby!

oh just fuck off Courtney

Seriously the only way to argue politics now is to just be the first to call the other person sheep, biased, partisan, etc. and to write off whatever the other person first and declare yourself the winner no matter what. So sick of fucking morons proudly vomiting out something about America and coming together and they expect a standing ovation while god bless america plays in the background while they have an elementary school level understanding of the country’s values, history, and government.

I know you are being sarcastic but which side of the aisle is going to sign on to a rushed vaccine? I don’t see rational people taking it and Trump’s side is filled with anti-vaxxers. Out by October basically means they skipped stage 3. It doesn’t seem like any US facing vaccines have a chance of normally finishing stage 3 and that is even if they skip waiting to see if there are longer term effects.

I suspect I have it although I haven’t been tested and don’t have the classic symptoms.

Basically what happened is on July 8th I was lying in bed and felt a weird headache I’ve never felt before. It was just pressure on one particular spot on the top left side of my head. In addition, while lying down I felt the left side of my body going a bit numb and tingling (mostly arm and leg, a bit my face). So I went into the doc and she thought it was a neuralgia and gave me meds for that.

For a couple days it was kinda bad and at times couldn’t even lay down the entire night b/c then the pressure would intensify in my head as well as tingles. It wasn’t super serious but bad enough that I thought there was maybe a 5% chance I might not survive and a good idea to write out a mini will and instructions to access accounts. Since then, it’s gone down in intensity, and I’d say I’ve wavered between 70-90% health since then, but can’t shake it.

Here’s the kicker. My girlfriend came to see me and take care of me in mid-July for 2 weeks to have someone here in case I was incapacitated and needed help, and about 10 days after being with me, she came down with the exact same symptoms, except for her on the right side of her body. Luckily, her symptoms seemed to abide after 5-7 days and now she’s doing pretty well. She went to a different doc and took a different set of meds.

We now suspect that we’re both experiencing blood clots, which upon research, can be one of the ways covid manifests itself. She used to be a nurse so has a better idea than me, but it doesn’t seem like it could be anything neurological b/c that wouldn’t be contagious, so I’d say covid is likely. I started taking one of the OTC blood thinner meds she was on that helped her a lot, so hopefully I’ll react positively to that, but it’s been about 5-6 weeks since all this started and I’m still battling it. It’s never been super serious but I’ve had a couple frights in that time period and it’s been pretty bothersome and affected my ability to play online as well.

Neither of us have ever had the wheezing cough, fever, low oxygen levels, etc.

Hey if it’s good enough for Vlad and Duteurte(?) is good enough for Trump and the US of A.

I’ll give you 2:1 you test negative for antibodies.

Trump will have FDA approve it.

That doesn’t mean it’ll actually make it to market or be taken. Just that he can declare he got an FDA approved vaccine so we are all saved before the election so vote for him.

ya, this is old news

I’d probably take that.

Even so, I don’t think most of us here have been tested. Who knows how many of us got it and didn’t know it.

My 200 to your 100, I win if you test negative for COVID antibodies in the next 10 days at some kind of medical office. Yoi win if you test positive in the next 10 days. Plus you’ll have the negative test so you’ll stop freaking out. Payment on Venmo.

I’m freaking out b/c it’s a pretty scary set of symptoms, covid has nothing to do with it. I’m kinda hoping it is covid tbh as some potential alternatives seem worse (blood clot in brain, tumor, etc.).

I hear numbers all over the map on asymptomatics. Fauci said a few weeks ago 20-30%, some here say like 80%

Then go see a doctor again. You were bragging how awesome Mexican hospitals are.

A ton of us have gotten tested when having symptoms and none of us were positive.

Other viruses and infections go around.

Ya I think this is pretty likely to happen as well sadly.
