That totally doesn’t sound like Hunger Games or Divergent at all.
I was gonna read this, but not after seeing her deplorable tweet
We need a sign:
UP: 209 Days* Without COVID**!
*Since first US case
**Verified Cases
0% positivity rate
Even multiplying cases 5x or 10x it’s still 0!
I’ve had a slight cough for a couple weeks, but I don’t have any other symptoms, so I doubt it’s COVID. Probably just allergies or something.
Semi-related: Nexium is the shit. Something hadn’t felt right for a few weeks and I self-diagnosed with minor acid reflux (not painful, just annoying). Store-brand Nexium fixed it in one dose.
DodgerIrish disappeared.
I was prescribed zantac twice a day in late 2014 and if I forgot to take it I’d feel terrible. Someone on here mentioned they were in the same situation before a doctor put them on a six week treatment of Nexium so I gave that a shot and it’s been about a month since I finished that up and haven’t had any acid reflux since.
Like when he said hydroxy was quickly FDA approved and the FDA said uh no and then revoked emergency use? At least I hope like that.
Maybe I am naive, but I just can’t see a vaccine coming out that’s dangerous without a ton of whistleblowers. Am I naive?
I couldn’t eat anything greasy or even mildly spicy without taking a Pepcid. My Dr recommend a six week nexium course a few years ago. Completely fine since.
Prolly me.
I’m probably 90% worried about a less than effective vaccine and 10% harmful.
So weird for a HS kid to make a bad decision like that. Definitely best to leave the decision whether or not to wear a mask up to the kids themselves.
OFS. LMAO.
All of us who have been staying in for the last 5 or 6 months are the good guys in the story that kept hospitals from being overrun and helped buy time until treatments inevitably became more effective and moved us closer to a vaccine.
But, it’s time to take off our capes and realize that nothing we do really matters - if you want to go out and party it up, go nuts. I’m done caring about other people doing obviously stupid things - people have had ample opportunity to learn of and digest the risk associated with COVID-19. Everybody doing dumb shit now is doing so willfully and knowingly, and good luck to them. If they kill their kids or parents or dogs, tough shit. They won’t kill me.
I’m just a random idiot, but at this point, gnashing teeth and being endlessly incredulous at what is now the vast majority of the country going about their business is on me. They don’t care, and neither do I anymore. Thinking we’d all get nice things if everyone did the right thing and pulled together toward a common goal was just the ultimate in Pollyanna denial. It was never going to happen, and shame on me for even entertaining the thought.
In the words of our illustrious leader, it is what it is. Every man, woman, and grade-school child for themselves.
Hard to socially distance during pillow fights.
Gonna need footage of the slumber party that led to this outbreak. I assume it was a pillow fight that got out of control.
Dammit!
It did happen until trump started screaming April 14. The blame is square on him. I’m blaming him for 80 percent of the deaths and that might be low.
I’m of the opinion that we should plan on the assumption that we won’t be able to sit out and wait for an effective vaccine. This doesn’t mean that I think we should go nuts and chase herd immunity, so it annoys me that people are wrecking our chance to pursue a more incremental approach to reopening.
Thinking we could all pull together was stupid. The solution, ultimately, is using the coercive power of government to curb bad behavior. I don’t see any way around that.
