Moreso, as movies are only about 2 hrs.
but the reward is that much bigger.
I think it’s the “actually kids don’t transmit the virus very well” bs that churchill is always spouting. If the prevalence of the virus is low, then schools should be fine, but it’s not low.
The price of steampunk glasses is about to skyrocket.
I don’t buy only 120 deaths in FL yesterday. Now they’re late announcing today. Something fishy going on
Relative spread. If aerosol generation is 90% and big drops/smear is 10% then it doesn’t matter much.
So an indoor concert venue in OKC is hosting a concert tomorrow. 4,000 person capacity room. Lol Oklahoma.

Pretty sure all my car needs is a new battery but stepping inside autozone to get it tested and buy a new one? When it’s probably trump it’s anti mask hang out central ?
Thinking it couldn’t be me and I’ll just get it towed, idk
Although she agreed that she had breached the school’s policy, which prohibits filming students and posting their images to social media without their consent, Hannah said in an interview that she did not regret doing so as the images had shed light on the crowding and lack of social distancing in her school.
“My mom has always told me that she won’t get mad at us if we get in trouble as long as it’s ‘good trouble,’” Hannah said, invoking the famous phrase of Representative John Lewis, the civil rights leader who was laid to rest in Atlanta last week. “You’re bettering society and bettering the world, so those consequences don’t outweigh the end result.”
I shook hands with someone today for the first time in a long time. He also wasn’t wearing a mask. Also he got a phone call while we were talking from his son who was on his way to get tested because his daughter-in-Law (pregnant) tested positive.
the kids are all right?
I’ve been in auto-zone and they required masks, distancing and set up barriers to keep people distant from cashiers and had lots of plexiglass. Probably the best precautions of any store I’ve been in. Ymmv.
I think you can get your battery tested and buy a new one at AutoZone without going inside. Call your local store.
That’s an amazing movie
Second time I’ve been in a bank (lolme) and both times there’s been a rep in the lobby opening the doors for customers. I said something on the way out last time, and this time on the way in I said, “No, you are way too close. That is much closer than six feet. I don’t understand why you are doing this. Please move.”
I had the same situation. Jumped my car, drove to autozone. Everyone was masked up and I was hardly inside other than to pay. They replaced it in ~5 minutes.
Since I guess I’m going out a lot more than you, that stuff is now standard for large chain retail.
Good point. I’m not, and I don’t have a good reason.
I’ve had school days shorter than an Avengers movie.
It’s not just gig economy workers who have to work sick.
A while back the company I was working for was in the middle of a massive restructure. There was a 3 day off site where all the senior managers had to get together to plan structure, assign people to teams, agree strategy, etc.
Big conference room in a hotel and like 50% of people had a really bad, hacky, phlegmy cough (including me) it was nasty, but we all knew that if you didn’t show up you couldn’t influence important decisions, including who in your team would be made redundant.
Post covid I think I wouldn’t show up. So maybe things will change.
