COVID-19: Chapter 5 - BACK TO SCHOOL

Clovis being a HAES guy is not surprising

Barring more information, I wouldn’t say anything. It isn’t your business. She knows she’s overweight.

Well he wasn’t too fat which was what the one-size-fits-all test was measuring.

Agreed.

But’s what is surprising is this:

On Unstuck alone, I’m sure it has been mentioned well over 100 times.

I joined a Facebook group for parents with kids in our local middle school. Obviously, all the talk is about virtual/in-person, etc. Someone shared a story from the AJC about the Georgia Board of Education wanting to push back start dates to September 8. Ok, whatever, don’t care.

So far, the one comment in the group is this: “Surge in Corona virus? Testing has only been readily available for 3 weeks. This thing has been with us for 7 months without testing and kids are safe. Stop the agenda and educate our children!”

As Nathan Fielder once said, “what that means”

I know right. Crazy being against another form of prejudice. I guess it’s just us awful “centrists”.

I understand the idea behind the movement and I’m not for shaming overweight people. Unfortunately obesity is unhealthy, it is what it is

Had no idea you could be considered healthy at 100 pounds overweight how interesting

Pretty much this.

To have Clovis’ stance you have to have climate change denier levels of delusion with respect to science.

I never said it’s not unhealthy on average. I said not everyone who is overweight is unhealthy.

This is awfully familiar to anyone that deals with moderates in the US. Go apeshit over every perceived microagression regarding proper pronouns and walking on eggshells not to shame morbidly obese people, while screaming at you to vote for Biden (who will never, ever, ever slash the defense budget or pass M4A). This is why everyone hates the dems.

Let’s work big to small here, eh?

I know. You’re wrong. I’d make an exception for people with low body fat percentage but have a high BMI due to muscle mass. I don’t think you’re talking about those people.

People who are obese are at higher risk for a variety of health problems. Just because they didn’t experience them doesn’t not mean they didn’t bear the risk. That is what makes them unhealthier.

You dare suggest a 5’7 250 pound woman is unhealthy solely based on her HT/WT? Have no fear! White Knight is here!

Yes, these people are the real reason we have a sprawling military-industrial complex. Keep shitting on them at every opportunity.

The democratic establishment cares exponentially more about bathrooms and pronouns than the defense budget. Thanks for playing.

Yup, trans rights activists. They’re the real villains here.

I’m done with this discussion but I find it very interesting the people who again and again claim to be the MOST PROGRESSIVE on this forum are the ones in here super excited about shaming people for their weight.

LOL. Did you miss the part where a majority dem House OVERWHELMINGLY voted down a 10% Pentagon budget cut today? I guess the bathroom people just have better PR. Definitely has nothing to do with the party being an utterly corrupt piece of shit that needs to be burned to the ground, right?
