I think its more about the federal secret police straight up kidnapping people. Thats whats terrifying us. That and we know Trump is desperate and they have no bottom. They will continue to go down the path of fascism because there are no consequences and dems don’t have the power to stop them.

That model posted by Nate is much better than the IHME model in both methodology and results. Historical results:
They spend some time shitting on the IHME model there. However since their model only uses deaths as inputs, they’re vulnerable to anomalously low death rates due to things like low average age of cases - you can see that in the Florida results I think.
Edit: They also have very wide confidence intervals, which is as it should be.

Yeah and even if we start getting camps I think people in this country will allow a certain number of camps. We’ve had ICE agents picking people up off the street/from their homes and throwing them in camps for years and the majority of the country doesn’t give a fuck. They’ll start giving a little more fucks because it’s Americans now but most will justify that they had it coming

I think you mean Newfoundland, specifically the small town of Gander. New Brunswick took in some flights, but nowhere near as many as Newfoundland.
