COVID-19: Chapter 4 - OPEN FOR BUSINESS

Even in other places it’s essential too. Public transportation is absolute dogshit here compared to the rest of the world.

Unless you’re in a metro area of nearly 1 million people, it’s very likely your public transportation system is bad.

I frequently travel to Minneapolis/Chicago/Toronto as they’re the close places to see a game or band when you live in lol Winnipeg and I wouldn’t say any of those places have great public transport. It’s just a rare thing for NA. As you say, the smaller metro areas don’t even try and the bigger ones just seem to have too many political forces against them.

ok good i actually hurt myself after two weeks of waking up at dawn and running out of my house so i probably need to relax a little bit longer.

i’m imaging a future where every crappy dive bar becomes a sit down restaurant with classroom seating and reservations for 1 because they have a griddle and fryer and you just hang out there all fucking day long at your own mini table eating and drinking and talking to your friends at tables 6 feet apart which actually sounds pretty awesome.

If she got a small dose out shopping and they he got a large dose while romping…

There was an article about the first in a family in 1918 generally getting a mild case vs the rest of the family.

It seems like they do have free coronavirus coverage, but they still make you make an account first. I haven’t bothered to do that yet.

Yep, I told her it sounds like she gave it to him.

But I do think it’s interesting that his symptoms were in reverse. Maybe it’s the difference between getting it from touching a surface then your face vs. straight breathing in someone’s breath droplets straight to your lungs.

Yes we have, many times. This video is a perfect companion:

Talking loudly >>>>> talking softly from a spread POV.

The only real hope of widespread government action from here is a few places who bite the bullet and lock down showing way better results than the places who don’t. This is a positive development.

I’m seeing a couple different reportings on this, but most that I’ve read say THRU July, or for three months (which would put us into mid August.)

Until July, would indicate only about 6 more weeks.

Yeah I will go with you on thru July. I saw headlines.

In USA gets fucked by big pharma again news:

Cliffs: other countries can make generic royalty free Remisdivir. Not USA #1 though. So even if it works there won’t be many doses available here and it will be enormously expensive.

Yeah it’s through July.

My 15 year old busted their ass to get into a very competitive arts high school for next year. They are going to be so upset if Fall semester is disrupted, which I think is a given. I am sad for them, and fearful of the size of the brick they are going to shit.
