Welp, found out today 3 people that work for my boss have the COVID. Guy #1 is 30’s and not feeling too bad. Guy #2 is 40’s. Over the road trucker. He was hauling a load from Oklahoma to California and had to ditch the truck at a truck stop and fly home he felt so bad, but he is a little better now. Guy #3 is boss’s son. He is 40ish. Not doing so well - terrible back pain. He said it is all he can do to get up to go to the bathroom. Shit is going to hit the fan in Oklahoma.

My daughter’s public NYC elementary school had a big Zoom town hall tonight on plans for the fall. There will be no more than 10 students per classroom, students will eat in classroom instead of cafeteria, masks must be worn all day, students will have option to do 100% remote learning.
Not sure how they will make all of this work because average class size is 25-30, and the building doesn’t have extra rooms.
What percentage of Americans would understand the joke today?
My neighbor is an elementary school principal. He told me that one of the biggest issues they are coming up with is how to deal with the buses. Normally a bus could fit like 60 kids but if you cut that in half you have to try and figure either (1) how to get all the kids to school or (2) how to determine which kids go on certain days go if you’re going to run part in class part at home.
Texas 4412 when their previous high is like 2400 is insane.

Maybe they are counting on 15-20 kids per class doing remote learning. They should do a survey to see what percentage of parents are keeping their kids home under this scenario to see if it is feasible.
