Sat would be Day 5, if today’s Day 0. That means she could fly on Sunday, at least according to the CDC? Seems crazy to me, I know they relaxed their guidelines, but still. My hope is that we don’t have to deal with the moral dilemma of traveling/working while positive and that she’s testing negative on Fri or Sat.
If I was 5 days out and feeling well I’d probably diligently wear a mask and get on with it if it was an important trip. Everyone else is probably pozzed anyway. I might be a garbage human though, I dunno.
The work, described as “an important step forward” by one independent expert, bolsters thinking that emerged at the height of the pandemic that Covid leaves some patients with tiny clots in their lungs, and potentially in their brains, leading to a wide range of long-term memory, concentration and thinking problems.
NHS England bosses said it could be “a very challenging winter” if the variant increased the risk of infection.
Anybody over 65, older adult care home residents and immunosuppressed people are to receive jabs from 11 September.

Ended up coming home from Labor Day camping Sunday night instead of Monday since wife and 2 of 3 kids not feeling well. Wife had been feeling kinda blah for a few days but powered through. Kids started getting sick Sunday. Wife is pozzed. Kids aren’t but it seems like the last time it went through our house tests read negative on the first day or 2 of symptoms. PSA: CVS’s online system is allowing people to book vaccine appointments for the updated booster as of today, but they do not yet have insurance information linked. So if you hypothetically made an appointment for a shot today, you will likely be told that you either have to pay $190 or reschedule your appointment. (They may have said that they have United Healthcare linked, but I’m not certain about that since I don’t have United and I was in too much of a pissy mood to ask further.)
I was assured that things should be fine by Monday.
According to de Matteo, she was forced to “switch careers and figure new things out because my own industry thinks I’m a savage” due to her beliefs against COVID vaccine mandates. She added, “I guess you could say I was a bad girl because I did not follow the rules a couple of years ago.”
De Matteo said her views resulted in her agent dropping her, and she “almost lost our home” due to acting work drying up.
…
“I used to have a lot of money,” de Matteo said. “And then, all of a sudden, I went from being allowed to work to never being allowed to work again. I was never the kind of actor that took jobs just to stay in the business. I literally took jobs to feed my family. So when people make nasty comments about why I would have [joined OnlyFans], my response is, ‘Damn straight, I hope you’re never in the fucking position I’m in.’ I take care of an entire family and a lot of other people who depend on me.”
