COVID-19: Chapter 10 - Mission Achomlished!

How do you know this? Does the world have a concensus as to ground zero or is that where China told us the first outbreak occured?

Wirelessgrinder: The origins of covid are unknown but also it started within a <10 mile radius that included the market but couldn’t have included the Institute 20 miles south

Adding on, there’s also a bit of a difference between the government doing public relations on its own behalf (“let’s improve the public perception of the government”, which is more what you’re talking about) vs doing PR to advance an idea or narrative (which most would call propaganda but, to micro’s point, is still PR).

UP: saying a lab leak is possible, is RACIST!

Also UP: saying poor food hygiene is common in Chinese markets is DEFINITELY NOT RACIST!

I believed this is the best reference to date.

All the best available evidence says one thing

As 2019 turned into 2020, a coronavirus spilled over from wild animals into people, sparking what has become one of the best documented pandemics to afflict humans. However, the origins of the pandemic in December 2019 are controversial. Worobey et al . amassed the variety of evidence from the City of Wuhan, China, where the first human infections were reported. These reports confirm that most of the earliest human cases centered around the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market. Within the market, the data statistically located the earliest human cases to one section where vendors of live wild animals congregated and where virus-positive environmental samples concentrated. In a related report, Pekar et al . found that genomic diversity before February 2020 comprised two distinct viral lineages, A and B, which were the result of at least two separate cross-species transmission events into humans (see the Perspective by Jiang and Wang). The precise events surrounding virus spillover will always be clouded, but all of the circumstantial evidence so far points to more than one zoonotic event occurring in Huanan market in Wuhan, China, likely during November–December 2019. —CA

I never stated the US wasn’t morally culpable. Read better, child.

I insinuated no such thing, but that you took it that way is telling.

I enjoy hearing about US atrocities. Your moral equivalence is cacophonous.

You keep seeing ghosts or something bud

Worse historical actor: Russia or the US?

I’ve been making this point to friends for a week. Don’t forget the mortal national threat represented by 30 second videos of kids dancing on TikTok!

100% correct, they are completely capable of saying “covid is an engineered bioweapon that the CCP deliberately designed for maximum lethalness and deliberately unleashed to cripple the US and also I am not going to get the vaccine or wear a mask” and will continue to say both of these things, they don’t care that these are contradictory ideas, libtard.

My partner just pozzed two different home tests. It is a first time poz for either of us! Our apartment isn’t that large and I’m not sure there is a realistic quarantine situation, especially with a 9 month old baby crawling around. So we’ve kicked on the air filter typically only used during forest fire season and are wearing N95s around the house.

She didn’t end up getting the bivalent booster, but I did. I don’t have any symptoms and will probably wait to test until I feel something.

I’m getting surgery in 25 days. :grimacing: :grimacing:

Can’t believe Djokovic got refused a visa to the US for vaccine reasons. Come on guys, it was funny when we did it, but it’s getting a bit old now.

Yeah! Covid is OVER!!!

There is no justification for vaccine mandates anymore, not for people who have had the virus anyway.
