If only the lab theory stuff was just alex Jones

Very quick skim

Appears they did make a pretty nasty strain, interesting it seems to be the BA.c (?) spike protein added to old school SARS-CoV-2.

So to me that seem to indicate that (at least for the mice model), the OG strain is nastier once it gets in, it just doesnā€™t get in that easy and the current lineage gets in easy but isnā€™t all that nasty.

Of course the gain of function folks will have a field day.

Unless Iā€™m completely misreading something???

Did this get posted to r/dyinginside?

Confirmed lots of freaking out going onā€¦ Fauve said no, then spiking the football.

They should round up some unvaccinated volunteersā€¦.

This story seems like it is, well, a lie. Not only was no such strain developed in a lab at BU, no legitimate employee at BU made this claim. But this is likely a lie to hide a deeper lie, which is that whoever is responsible for the story has developed weaponized covid, and is now seeking a scapegoat on which to pin this, well, obviously extremely illegal behavior. The lethality rate is likely an exaggeration, actually, to amplify the fear this story generates, but the whole purpose of the story is essentially to threaten the entire U.S. population.

Lol, the ā€œOranges of Covidā€ thread.

Is there consensus on over-the-counter meds to take to lessen the suck of Covid? I feel like trash and am convinced itā€™s Covid.

Iā€™m about to take a rapid test and am wondering what meds (if any) I should consider taking in the event it comes back poz.

Tylenol 1000mg up to three times per day plus Motrin 600 mg up to 3x per day is what I typically do for any viral illness with fever/body aches

Thanks. The body aches have historically fucked me up pretty good, with both colds and vaccines/boosters.

Test appears to be negative.

Penis cancer is the ONE thing Iā€™m trying to avoid and now I hear this more than a week after my booster

How much you wanna bet their ā€œresearchā€ is searching Twitter for posts that include ā€œvaccineā€ and ā€œpenisā€ and their ā€œevidenceā€ is liberals trolling with jokes?

Congress could have attached COVID funding to like ten different bills so heā€™s not wrong but lets not absolve those in power here.

Flu in right, booster in left 24 hours out, pfizer. No fever but general body aches 3/10 in discomfort. Better than the third shot, worse than the first two.

Man I am so jealous of you guys that have minimal side effects. All five shots have kicked my ass hard.
