The ability to work from home (and get food deliveries) is a huge advantage. Most workers in lockdown Chinese cities won’t be paid until they go back to work but ymmv.
Tons of people sick at Borgata Poker Open in AC right now. I got it too… figured it was just the typical casino flu but was definitely much worse than any I’ve had before. Luckily my condition is improving but pretty scary to think how fast something like this could spread at a poker festival.

It’s racist to say “The Chinese eat bats” when people in Beijing and Shanghai are revolted by that idea.
It’s a minority food bought/sold under the counter in other cities, and is against the law.

That’s bullshit to call me racist for that. There is no food product literally everyone of a race eats but they’re the only ones that eat that outside of maybe africa.

But you would have been correct.
Not sure that eating bats is inherently problematic but practically I think it’s previously led to the spread of both prion diseases and lead poisoning (from people pumping them full of buckshot) so yeah perhaps best avoided. I’m just spitballing and would have to confirm that those were both bat related but Im positive at least one was.
Lived in China for 3 years. Never saw anybody eat a bat. Some bullshit.
