Yes, testing is extremely valuable for a variety of reasons. As cuse, (I believe it was him), mentioned, it’s extremely valuable to know if you’ve already had it since you can then help out wherever it’s needed. (I know this would be testing for the antibodies and not the virus itself.) If people can safely return to work, help other people, etc. it will help get through this thing so much faster and with fewer negative impacts.

We must have rapid and unlimited testing before we come out of social distancing. Need to be able to tightly monitor what happens when we start to interact with each other to stop a recurring epidemic as soon as possible.

That tweet (and mindset) is disgraceful. I also saw a tweet showing a crowded airport full of college kids going home and couldn’t help but be saddened at the sight of a few older people sprinkled in the shot and wondering if they were going to later die because of it

Drove thru Vegas down the strip a few hours ago during this road trip I’m on (original plan a month and a half ago was to stop but we changed our mind in light of things) and it was pretty packed with people. Had to have seen at least a few people with it while driving by

The tobacco/alcohol exceptions struck me as weird too.
But then I remembered that I live in the country that consumes the most beer per capita in the world and where 40% of the male population smokes.
