In our school district (Cobb County), they have a ton of online resources. With proper communication from his teacher, my kid was able to keep up when out for a week this school year.
The big problem as far as teaching is concerned is just that: teaching. Kids and parents would probably be on their own to learn the material, as I wouldn’t expect every class to have the ability to hold remote classes.
And then, of course, there’s the families who can’t afford to have parents stay home from work.
But what are you doing for the kids without technology resources at home? Right now they can go to the library or check things at school, but not if everything is closed. That’s a lawsuit.

Right. It’s a problem.
Costco TR: Got gas at 9:30, got in line and gates opened at 9:45, overheard people talking as we were going in say they’re “not worried” and “this is so overblown” to each other which caused another random dude to chime in with “just wash your hands and take showers and you’ll be fine”. Got 2 boxes of disposable gloves, paper plates, trash bags, scrubbing bubbles bathroom cleaner, microwaveable popcorn. Left at 10:05 and the parking lot was 75% full. They didn’t have toilet paper or paper towels at all so I swung by another Costco and saw people with Kirkland paper towels leaving but they only had bounty left so I got some of that and they also had no toilet paper at all.
FYI, it’s “row to hoe.” Edit to add: as a former farmer, I feel it’s my duty to be a nit over this phrase :)
