I mean, say it’s weird. What’s the significance of its weirdness?
I don’t find it weird at all given what I know of MLK, Lincoln and US history as a whole. Why do you think it’s weird?
Perhaps if a racist was his personal inspiration - did king agree with his views?
Perhaps if a racist was his personal inspiration - did king agree with his views?
I don’t believe so, no. Are we moving towards you not agreeing with various views of Confederate figures?
He didn’t agree but was inspiration? Lol
I guess not. Can you put into words what seems incoherent to you about King being inspired by Lincoln despite not sharing his racist views?
has he made one actual argument or point? other than just pointing out that lincoln was racist?
We are still waiting on you to organize the demolition of Lincoln’s monument.
how bout we just destroy the ones that fought to keep slaves? sounds like a good compromise.
Nah, it must be all or none for all racists.
So why don’t you try to explain what you think is going on with King’s obviously favorable view of Lincoln easily seen in his writing. It just again seems like your understanding of history is so poor that you want us to fill in all the details, which is hard for us to do. If you start a thought we can maybe help you finish it.
It’s hard to accept one “fighting for civil rights” idolized a racist - would you agree?
No.
So when lefties say “republicans are no longer the party of Lincoln”, they mean no longer the party or racism right? You know cuz Lincoln was a racist and all?
No what?
“No” to the question you just asked.
I’m having a hard time, copy it for me.
Nah.
Didn’t think so. Thanks!
