We are all very impressed by you man, thanks for
the contributions.

I’m asking if you would prefer they had won? Like if it were up to you. Three wishes kind of thing. And, if they had won, what form do you imagine the eventual dismantling of slavery would have taken?

You are welcome, I understand you are a little slow and didn’t pick it up in your history classes the first time. But now that you are aware, I’m sure the mods can help you remove your goofy tag defending the heritage of rape, murder and terrorism that extended into the 1960s whenever you like.

If they had won, maybe folks would have a better grasp of liberty. It’s easy to say nobody had freedom other than whites but that’s not true.

Lincoln is a hero to all freedom loving southerners. He was the main figure in preventing the south from becoming a separate, isolated shit hole nation where member states didn’t even have the right to decide that slavery should be illegal. Who knows how far behind the south would be technologically, educationally and culturally to the rest of the world if he let them secede?

“Didn’t pick up in your history classes” lol. Don’t worry, whatever you learn in history class is true.

Brah. Slavery. In a Confederate victory world, how does it end?

Lincoln is a hero to no one in the south. He was afraid the south would prosper without him, and there would be no revenue for his projects.

On its own

A country with free labor would prosper? What a concept!

Do you have any idea how stupid you come across to anyone with an ounce of common sense? I really hope you don’t have children.

The history classes taught us that Lincoln was awesome and the people you are defending were bad. Truth is Lincoln was the bad and the people you are defending deserved to die and burn in hell.

Thanks for the correction.

How long do you envision it taking? How many extra man-hours of enslavement were your heroes fighting for? We’ll say that they were fighting for freedom, and that the extra man-hours of slavery were merely an incidental, but unavoidable consequence of securing that freedom. Ballpark figure?

Well there was this one guy from the south you might have heard of. He often spoke and wrote highly of Lincoln.

He said people from the South I’ll let myself out.

Sure man, the govt will help you!

Sure seems odd considering some here voiced and agreed Lincoln was racist. Wonder how that meshes?

Sucks to suck for you huh?

C’moooon, how many more man-hours of enslavement were Lee and the boys gunning for? ~3 million slaves, 800k exempted from the Proclamation, which is our point of deviane. So 2.2 million people x [length of continued slavery] equals X additional man-hours on a Confederate win.

So fill in that missing variable. How long would slavery have taken to just go away on its own? Years? Decades? Long enough for us to get The Dukes Of Monmouth, with two fineyoungfellers driving around in the Cap’n Brown getting into hijinks?

Lol MLK’s greatest speech (and one of the most influential in American history) was delivered at the Lincoln Memorial and is by design a thematic and rhetorical successor to the Gettysburg Address and the Emancipation proclamation. King often referenced Lincoln as a personal inspiration. Who was inspired by your confederate statues? Dylan Roof and the KKK?

You don’t think it’s weird king would reference a known racist as a personal inspiration? As far as dylan roof, lol.
