I would not be surprised if all of this was a PR campaign by the other conservator to force Britney’s dad out and the conservatorship ends up continuing for a long while.
This sounds like a stalling tactic with no clear process or timeline for when and how he is stepping down. so he can continue to grift and fight for years coming up with random reasons why the timing is not right and it is not in Brittany’s best interests to step down.
So then the article headline is misleading, right?

A housekeeper for Britney Spears has accused the pop icon of striking her during a dispute Monday morning at the star’s Southern California home, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.
The employee claims that Spears, who has been embroiled in a court battle over ending her conservatorship, confronted her when she returned to the house. Spears allegedly slapped the housekeeper’s phone out of the woman’s hands.
The housekeeper initially called deputies to the house, and then went to a sheriff’s station to file a report. The employee was not hurt.
Sorry pretty is not responsible for herself. Her conservators will be punished for her transgression.

Spears’ attorney, Mathew Rosengart, downplayed the accusations in a statement to Us on Thursday. “This is overblown sensational tabloid fodder — nothing more than a manufactured ‘he said, she said’ regarding a cell phone, with no striking and obviously no injury whatsoever,” he said. “Anyone can make an accusation, but this should have been closed immediately.”
The results of the investigation will be sent to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office for consideration of misdemeanor battery charges. However, the sheriff’s office says the matter was classified as a “very minor misdemeanor.”
Authorities tried to contact Spears about the alleged incident, but she refused to speak with them.
I mean, yeah, but to me it’s suggestive that this is not an isolated incident. Like either this housekeeper is just inexplicably just the sort of person who calls the police at a minor incident, despite being a housekeeper to the stars, or she’s at the end of her rope for whatever reason.
It’s pretty obvious that Spears senior is an asshole and that the conservatorship is a mass grift for bottom feeding lawyer types, but I continue to think it’s likely that Britney is also not well. All these things can be true.
Imagine if a regular person tried to call the cops about somebody slapping a phone out of their hand lol.
