Yeah I swear you’d have like a 25%+ ROI just fading every single odds boost offered by the betting sites.
Nah there’s definitely something to +ev betting based on promos for sure, but yeah, it definitely sometimes feels the opposite.
Yeah I think the promos are mostly +EV, I’m just saying for the random times where the Total is 48.5 and they boost the Over from -110 to +120 or something, that I’m pretty sure the book knows that Under 48.5 is a better bet but they don’t want to move the line.
I feel like if you bet the under on every primetime game this season you’d be up heaps. Every damn game is like 14-3.
I just wanna bet the over on penalty flags thrown seems like every game atm (in before you can somewhere and I nevern oticed)
I had thought to bet the under and that post reminded me.
Good thing. It takes a bit of sting out of losing a $25 +750 SGP by half of a RWilson passing yard. (247, the line was 247.5)
On top of the Jets losing to the LOLYotes to kill a +400 3 team parlay special. (Van/Sea/WPG)
This is very not good for the future of this industry.

It’d be very not good for the future of the sports betting industry if he believed the opposite.
Good bookies make money taking sharp action, the Hilton now Westgate has been doing it for decades. Sharp players also give the book valuable information when they bet early in the week at low limits. Banning winners is super shitty.
Is he talking about banning winners or is he just talking about not catering to sharps? Maybe they should take sharp action, but just not give those players any bonuses or promos or anything else that adds EV.
They don’t ban. They just limit you mercilessly. I tried to bet $300 on an NFL money line on MGM over the weekend. Limited to 3.35
So I just dw all my cash
I’m not sure if it’s just me or not but I’ve noticed a massive dropoff in Draft Kings casino promos the last few weeks. It went from almost 1 a day with an EV around $5 (Bet $10 blackjack get $5 etc.) to basically nothing. It wouldn’t surprise me if they are starting to cut me off because I have cleared over $25K this year from them, but a decent chunk of that was in the sportsbook, and I still get all of those promos.
I get that they are not in the business of losing money by giving it away, and I’m sure they’d prefer it if I not frequent their site, but they aren’t supposed to say the quiet parts out loud. They need to keep up the Kayfabe that these casino & sportsbooks are a magical place where they are showering us with promotional gifts.
The daily bet 10 get 5 are pretty much done
But it got 3 $100 bonus over the weekend. One bet slots, bet roulette, bet bj
Today got bet 200 get 20 for bj
So it’s not as good but still good
Lucky Caesars showed up and is dropping casino bonuses every day
It seems like casual fan sports betting is going to be a lucrative model going forward. The leagues are embracing gambling in a way that they didn’t used to. Maybe its been like this for a while but I don’t remember so much direct advertising for in game gambling during live sports broadcasts.
The books are holding 9% of the handle, which is astronomical. Casual players are terrible bettors.
What do you mean by this?
For every $100 wagered, Draft Kings makes $9 of gross profit. They’re losing money because of their massive marketing and promotional spend, but they are awash in clueless moron bettors.
I get that they are running a business but limiting anyone with a clue to $25 or whatever is pretty scummy IMO.
Standard stuff. Respect him admitting the truth instead of saying some BS like we accept all action.
