Why is it so suprising that a number of people were happy and excited to see me back posting and decided to join the fun, and now are/were subsequently defending my honor from slander and abuse? I’m objectively a fun and entertaining poster. Sure, they might only give me a genlteman’s 7/10 whilst I give myself a full 10/10, but it’s an objective fact that statement is true by any metric.

You can respond, but I suggest that you do it in the poker news thread. Part of the post you are asking about was a question directed at me about the rules, so I kept the post in this thread even though some of it was off topic.

I’m not going to respond to your post point by point. I will state for the record that the newly announced rule was not made up at a moment’s notice or in response to your posting. I proposed the rule a week ago in the moderators thread. Other mods or admins can verify this.

It didn’t get enacted until a few days ago because the forum was relatively free for drama for a few days, and I thought we might not need a new rule. When the poker news thread started getting out of hand again, I decided to roll out the rule.

What I am postulating here is that, regardless of which political party holds the presidency, Epstein & Co. are more or less directly in charge of the executive branch of the federal government. They likely found Biden more palatable and found that acceptance of their perpetual power and control came more easily when they appropriated social justice rhetoric.

That is why “New Democrats” like Maura Healey are running extremely smart campaigns that cross party lines and
