2025 LC Thread

They used to only be Amex and debit. In 2016 they kicked Amex to the curb and went Visa.

Then memory fails. I must have used debit before the switch.

Twice I’ve had the night before text ‘Don’t bother tomorrow, we good’.
So don’t give up hope.

I made it to 54. When I got called I was just placed on standby, and they ultimately didn’t even use me

Same here at age 55. I went down there, signed in, ate lunch, and then they told me to leave.

The secret to Costco is to beat someone to a bloody pulp at the first sample station you come to, then no one will mess with you after that.

That’s morning. Forget it. An hour or so before closing it’s relatively slow.

I’m pretty sure I have never ever accepted a sample when offered.

I’ve been to Costco nearly every week for the last 15 years and have never once had a sample.

I’ve been tempted.

I’m not really there to “shop.” I have a list. I just want to get my stuff and get out.

Yeah that’s secret number two: have a plan and stick to it.

If I show up to jury duty with a maga hat on, will I be released or promoted to foreman? This is rural Ohio.

Might end up a circuit court judge.

On the flip side, if you are looking for a great deal on a new TV, go to Costco tomorrow or Monday.

If I went Monday, I am one thousand percent sure I would see someone returning a just-purchased large screen tv and absolutely lose my mind.

Then how do you know what to impulse buy?

That’s going to be the biggest bargain.
