just ignore the thing that says âemergency exit onlyâ but follow whatever else it says. I hate it when they use the old Iâm a greedy idiot defense cause it might be true. at least itâs not the capitol building but that wonât stop some people from still getting super mad. One of the Râs was already talking about trying to remove him from the house for it.
I guess I can see how the sign could be confusing. It does say âEMERGENCY EXIT ONLY,â though, and that would stop 99% of people wanting to use the door in a non-emergency. I suppose one could add âIN AN EMERGENCY,â before âPUSHâ to make it 100% clear.
If the door is an âemergency exitâ, but normally is open during votes, I think it makes sense to ignore the first part of the sign. Youâd be focused more on how to get the door open, and not the emergency exit part.
