They interviewed him earlier and he looked a little disheveled. He said he’s been away for 4-5 years and when asked “what keeps bringing you back to this game?” he said “Just love to compete, love to win, just try my hardest to do what’s right.” The “to do what’s right” part seemed a bit off to me lol
‘Do what’s right’ = Stole 10k to try to win the main to then pay off his debts?
Searched Twitter. The only guy who has Tweeted about making the money in the same tournament is this guy.

Seems like a Philly area online tournament specialist. Do you see him?
Oliver opened 1500 sb, rheem defends.
Flop 1k call
Turn 3.5 call
River 10k shove 43k eff
cool bluff by chino. i guess he’s not a nit.
He’s right in front of me. Thanks for looking.
Why is this a thing?
Phil’s dad didn’t love him. Also, watching him crash race cars is more entertaining.
Hot Take: Phil Hellmuth actually sucks at deep stack no limit. That’s why he always arrives late, so he can begin play with medium to shortish stacks for easy coin flip decision making. Phil is a coin flip expert. He can’t read your soul or any of that hoo ha. He flips coins good and has an elite level tilt-game.
People seemed to love Jungleman in costume.
You’re still deep any point in day 1
Busted in 12th for almost $10k after bounties. Boom!
What a stupid fucking entrance. Like I feel bad for Vince Vaughn being put through that, coming off like a joke like Hellmuth when he does that shit - and Phil is doing it to get sponsorships. The WSOP hires a movie star and comedian to emcee, and they make him dress up like fucking Caesar? What are they thinking?
Have him do some bits for TV, have him actually emcee some stuff and tell some jokes, have him go on some late night talk shows and plug the WSOP, have him host a game with some movie stars or something, I dunno. Seems like tons of things you could do that are way better than that.
Villain has… a high blood alcohol level?
Also to all those who said they couldn’t find any good cash games, I’m 2/2 on finding good cash games with < 15 mins wait time.
5/T/20
LJ r75
HJ call
SB call
BB call
I’m straddle, r375 off ~2200 but only the HJ covers me, others are shorter. LJ call, HJ fold, SB call, BB jam for $910, I re-ship covering the others. LJ snap calls ~$1160 effective, SB thinks 10 seconds, shrugs, and calls for like $900.
Results…
Me: QQ
Do we like it?
LJ: 77
SB: JJ
BB: KQo
BB scoops the main with a K on the river, I get a small rebate from the side pot where I hold.
In case you’re wondering how I’m playing/running, I folded A4cc on AK4ssd vs the whale in the game without putting a single dollar in postflop. After I folded he showed AK. I somehow had the God seat on the whale and a sick live read on when he was bluffing and monster, and enough insight into his value thresholds to make that fold, and not only lost on the session, got smoked by the whale.
That sucks man.
How much are you down on the trip?
I lost $23k over the weekend.
My current 2-5 table has a guy who posts a dead 50 from every position for no apparent reason. Vegas is the worst
I just flatted 10bb with AQo as a trap and won 100bb preflop.
Tbh i dont get why mike postle even bothered cheating here
Stones >>>>>> TV then?
