Changing the trigger in this way would not require any new taxes or really change anything at all about how the program operates in the near term. All it would do is change the default outcome of so-called “insolvency.” No longer would “insolvency” mean automatic benefit cuts. It would instead mean automatic tax increases on the rich.
No, it wouldn’t. Taxes on families making $150,000 is a just a tax on the middle class, not the rich.
A lot of the big apartment buildings do trick of treating, so you can hit up a lot of places in one stop if you don’t mind riding elevators.
I like to take my kids to some blocks nearby with townhouses that are all decorated. Those types of houses can draw big crowds. I’m sure they go through tons of candy.

To be fair, doggy gastro intestinal issues are not fun no matter what floor you’re on. My dog had a “bad night” a while back and I think it took me a week to recover. She woke me up to go outside every hour all night long.
