Could be a hacked account. And with that many sales he should damn well know he’s not supposed to contact buyers off-platform

How does LFS feel about getting an item that a 3rd party had for a while, instead of directly from the seller. OK? Not OK?

I don’t know what makes the 3rd party any more random than the seller tbh.

That’s reasonable. I was just curious. Hoping for a surprise answer.

Yeah the poorer/middle class people all live in areas that need cars

Could spend that on improving public transport

Well, I’d suggest means testing, but I know how much of a fan of that you are!

Yeah, this sounds like an attempted scam to me as well.

Curious how this would work. Does it depend on getting me on the phone?

Man it seems like it would be really easy to abuse that somehow. Who’s this John Smith that suddenly has 50,000 cars in the greater LA area registered to his address? He must be a baller.

Also this.

Probably? If you’re gullible enough it ends with you fronting some money so he can pay the shipping fees and also the extra money the other party needs to cover his costs, but the seller has just paypalled you an extra $500 from his stolen credit card to cover your expenses something something.

I don’t know if they are going to write checks for the credit, but most people who don’t have any cars (maybe even in SF) it’s because they’re poor and they don’t pay that much a year in state taxes.

Just spend more on public transit is right.

Looks like Rushdie got really fucked up. Tough mofo to survive an attack like that at his age.

Someone here will enjoy this.

I’m pretty confident I’ve done significantly worse, but there’s no universe I’d ever let anyone track me doing it and write about it in a food magazine. I know enough to be embarrassed lol.

$36.75 a week on groceries is something. That’s like 7 cosmic apples.

I spend more on food a month than 99% of americans (basically get fast casual for 70% of my meals and live in the middle of Boston), and even I think that’s excessive

Will never not be astonished by companies paying 23 year old consultants, it’s absolutely impossible for them to know anything! Which, lol everything Jesus Christ

Someone has to make the powerpoints.
