Nice
I guess if the people who got the cheap gas started telling their friends and family, then the majority of people showing up to the station were doing so with the intent to get the cheap gas and that reduced the possibility of an honest civilian to go and tell them that they made a mistake since they just drive pass and go to the next station that isn’t busy.
MAGA rage machine is going to try to milk the shit out of this. “It’s basically the same as Jan 6.”
Apparently he’s selling his Seattle area house… random af but relevant. I dunno if he’ll end up getting $85M in this market though
I guarantee there were some God fearing christians that came through that station about to put their last or spend bill money just to get gas and thought this was a blessing from God. Let’s not make it sound like those that paid for their gas and left as normal were wrong somehow or not Christian’s.
Still can’t get any of these people to vote for Bernie.
They should have named that song McMansion Hell.
I had to educate my girlfriend on this. She feigned being annoyed but I’m sure in reality she was grateful.
Dean Norris GOAT.
As an aside, few characters have grown on me more than Hank in BB. When BB started, I used to think of him as just a dumb, loud cop. But he became much more likeable as the series progressed. I wonder if the writers intended that from the beginning, or if they just decided to evolve him as the series progressed.

Not unless this thing has rocket boosters to keep it stable.
It boggles my mind that high-speed rail from LA to Vegas isn’t profitable enough for some private company to undertake it. It would be so much more fun and easier than a plane ride and so much less horrible than the drive.
I’d easily pay the same cost as a plane to take the train instead. The real cost must be like double or more w/o subsidies.
I don’t doubt there is a market for this, but for me personally, if I lived in LA, I’d never go to Vegas. LA beats Vegas in nearly all categories except for gambling, and since all I play is poker, LA is better for that too.
Yeah I don’t like Vegas much either. But I’ve had fun with poker gatherings back in the day. And the main point is plenty of people in LA LOVE going to Vegas.
I definitely like Vegas. I just like LA way more. It’s not even close.
Best part of this video is the vast barren desert that apparently surronds our highrise settlements. At least they aren’t sugarcoating it!
You know in all those post-apocalyptic games and movies where they’re wandering the wasteland and there are just these giant mystery tracks that go all over the place but are all broken down and crumbling?
It’s these.
Americans just don’t seem to prioritize public spaces or any kind of actual street life - as compared to most of the rest of the world. We just want to work all day then drive home and shut the garage door behind us. It’s a dreary existence imo.
The ethnic neighborhoods in LA have so much life compared to the upper-middle-class bedroom communities.
