They are right though. Our chocolate has some stupid acid byproduct in it. Basically the same concept of us putting corn syrup in soda instead of sugar. Just all downside.
If Brits are making fun of your chocolate you know you have problems
My pet peeve is stuff that gets labelled as “chocolatey”. You see that, you know there’s not real chocolate in there.
Just eat your foodish product and be quiet.

Special shout-out to the network execs who decided it would be a great idea to given Meghan McCain a platform to whitewash the Republican Party’s brand of politics.
Dang I didn’t even know the Kentucky derby happened. Growing up it was huge in my family. We used to have big derby day parties.
That is a pretty amazing race,
Yeah I forgot too. For some reason I thought they only ran it every four years, like the World Series,
Another anti-obesity medicine showing promise
Insurance companies generally don’t cover this, which is remarkably stupid, but whatever. They’ll cover diabetes meds though.
Chapo gotta go off on her book. They did with one of her earlier books and it was hilarious.
85% lost at least 5% of their body weight? Wow
Average weight reduction of 50 pounds for the 15mg dose. The GI side effects don’t sound great, but it wasn’t that bad. Only 5% stopped taking the drug.
Do you know what the mechanism is that makes it work? Does it suppress appetite, or somehow stop the body from storing excess calories as fat?
It’s been awhile since I’ve done that kind of biochem, but the press release states it suppresses appetite and increases expenditures. It’s also supposed to change metabolic processes that makes your diabetes and whatever better. I’d have to really look into stuff to give anything beyond that.
It’s not like those things that make you shit out all the fat you eat.
It’s interesting. You would think that the food industry in the US would be super interested in making this happen. McDonald’s could give you the pills with your Happy Meal!
I’m not sure. It says it reduced appetite, so you wouldn’t be ordering super sizes.
Yeah insurance companies don’t cover weight loss meds. It is really weird.
“I’ve never paid 10K a month in rent but I need to move and it is necessary at this point. I hope to pay less in the future, within 1 year. I get 8K a month in perpetuity that goes up with inflation. I also have about 4K a month in personal expenses. I have 2.5MM in investments and 60K in CC debt but it is at 0% interest. I think I will be fine as this will not be an expense for more than a year, probably even less. But it is emotionally a big deal taking this step to move forward with my life.”
Perhaps this person is eating too much avocado toast?
The World Series is every year, you’re thinking of the Stanley Cup.
