Dude never would come clean about why he needs a $10k/month place other than “My family’s needs and for when family comes to visit”.
So reading between the lines - he either has a wife and kids who are used to a certain lifestyle, or it’s very important to convince his family that he’s still wildly successful at whatever he’s doing.
Also $8k/month in perpetuity pegged to inflation has to be a trust fund right? I doubt it’s a pension. Could be a lawsuit settlement I guess.
It would be an unusually high pension, but not an impossible pension. A typical career public sector worker who retired with 30 years of service and final average salary of $160,000/year would have a pension of about $8,000/month guaranteed for life and indexed to inflation.
Yeah I always assumed most of those or corporate rentals. With a few as party pads for young rich people. Justin Bieber rented a place in my ex-s neighborhood. The neighbors were not pleased. We looked up the rent one time and it was astronomical. Here it is:
Which floor plans are available and what are the price ranges?
This property has ten bedrooms and many bathrooms starting at $49,500/mo.
Not really sure what that means. Are they subdividing it?
lol I was talking to my wife and kids about this yesterday and said that it was possible he’d killed the guard, which my older kid agreed with, and out of the blue my wife said “I bet he ate her.” WTF
Yeah, I’m kind of in this camp. All chocolate is great.
However, they’re not wrong. American chocolate isn’t quite as good. However, I think that if you are accustomed to American chocolate, then you would think Euro chocolate tastes weird.
But it shouldn’t take that long for someone used to American chocolate to come to their senses. Have a 100g Toblerone every day for a week and Hershey bar is going to seem markedly worse in comparison.
