Look man, that was a post from 2020 and it seems like people are just catching on now. When you view yourself as being on the cutting edge of the apple game, there’s no room for nuance.
Honestly, I went to dinner at a really good Indian place last night, and the two stars of the show for me were a cauliflower dish and a jackfruit dish. So right now, I’d consider myself cautiously bullish on jackfruit. (I’ve got too much up and down experience with cauliflower to have changed my mind from just one dish.)
That looks great. Kind of reminds me of another one (not in Chicago) that I like.
I think that type of modern take on Indian food is cool, but when I’m really craving Indian food, those places don’t do it for me. Main problem is that they are never spicy enough.
But I still like them a lot; they’re just different.
I remember that post. I didn’t remember the name of the apples though so all this time I have been looking in the stores for magical apples with names I don’t recognize but come up empty. Now I know who to blame.
Calculus was like the ONE class at my public HS where I had a truly outstanding teacher. I got college credit through the AP exam and then took Calc II first semester undergrad and it was like a refresher course and easy A. That might be the last time in my life doing well in school ever gained me anything remotely substantial.
