They had 4 hits off that same album come on
I was ready to fight over this one but I suppose youâre right. I didnât even remember âI doâ until I went back and listened to it. That song definitely had a moment.
Which ones?
Throwing a flag on this comment (actually two). Stay charted much higher and came out 3 years earlier.
We are 100 years old. 3 years apart is the same time :)
Which ones?
Pull me under. 10.
Take the time. 29
And
Another day 22
Got massive airplay when they came out
Another day charted on the same chart as pull me under
To be honest dream theater is more of a no hit wonder
To be honest dream theater is more of a no hit wonder
I think thatâs more my point. According to the band, theyâve never really had a hitâŚexcept Pull Me Under.
This is the cover to their Greatest Hit compilation.
That funny :)
imo only one gold record counts as a one hit wonder
Your average Joe on the street would not recognize any Dream Theater songs.

The Verve Bittersweet Symphony
Too bad it wasnât even their song.
I almost broke out Dragon Force âThrough the Fire and Flames,â but I think theyâve had a nice string of hits.
Iâm not going to remove the heart for Nena, even though she doesnât really qualify.
Also, has anyone else noticed that the English version has a cleaner melody but worse lyrics?
Was this a cover??
You might want to research it. It might be on my Christmas quiz.
The Verve developed âBitter Sweet Symphonyâ from a sample from a 1965 version of the Rolling Stones song âThe Last Timeâ by the Andrew Oldham Orchestra, adding vocals, strings, guitar and percussion. After a lawsuit by the Rolling Stonesâ former manager, Allen Klein, the Verve relinquished all royalties and the Rolling Stones members Mick Jagger and Keith Richards were added to the songwriting credits. In 2019, ten years after Kleinâs death, Jagger, Richards, and Kleinâs son ceded the rights to the Verve songwriter, Richard Ashcroft.
So it was. Then it wasnât. Now it is. Very interesting.
