Mark of Defiance - Item - TBC Classic how do I get this? NPC is red to me. Haven’t done any pvp and the comments there don’t explain it.
Another dumb question I can’t find on google is do I get enchanting skill points if I enchant peoples stuff in the trade window? Just farmed bis spell power wrist and would love to get some points for free.

Got our butts kicked by gruul for 2 hours, which I’m pretty sure was literally the thing that made me quit in 2007 -_-. Pretty pointless with dungeon blues imo but w/e.
my guild killed prince tonight. Was a little annoyed because I got side-bagged so everyone who came last night could have a spot (I had real life commitments). I was brought in for shade as a pumper because they were having dps problems and then I got replaced so the guild leader could have a shot at rolling on prince bow.
Glad we got it down but I’m a little annoyed at the precedent set there. We’re not gonna take consistent #1 dps so a ret pally who is usually our crappy offtank can have a slot? Or a mage who is still on trial in the guild, who wiped the raid no less than 7 times just in the time I was there and I guess it was even worse last night? Sub-300 dps? Am I being sweaty here or am I being boned?
I ran black morass about 14 times on my healer today. didn’t get scarab. did a few half assed tries on my hunter, just to see if I could get hourglass, but that was pretty delusional too. I didn’t see either drop all day on either character.

My unsweaty guild pulled me into kara as someone was out and we went right through everything 1 shot pretty amazing. Well took like 5 on prince because of various fuckups (caught behind the door closing, me killing myself with SWD yeah…) but then got him. Man this stuff seems easier than last time.

Jesus the camp for enchant wrist sp was bad but the one for enchant weapon sp is 5x worse

Man its sad AF what they did to warrior tanks (and rogues, whatever they are) in this expansion, they just can’t hold shit with the usual 4 pack pulls in norms. I haven’t got into heroics yet but the difference between pal and war tanks is staggering. Even bears better.
Had a pretty crazy day yesterday. Played 21 hours with no breaks. Did heroics all day, was getting my shit pushed in at ~1k bonus healing. Particularly last boss of black morass - he can frenzy and then time stop and the tank gets 2 shot. Absolutely nothing I can do as a druid when the tanks get killed in 2-3 hits. Heroics are so much harder than the raids - it’s not even close. Managed to struggle through Black Morass/ramparts/Mana tombs/Shadowlabs.
Then about an hour before the raid I enchanted all my shit and got up to close to 1200 bonus healing. In raid I got 3 pretty good pieces, now I’m up to 1310 bonus healing. Shit’s noticeably easier now. Going to spend today respeccing to feral and questing (so I can finally learn how to druid other than in tree form and make some $). I managed to pick up a decent full feral set from just grabbing leather for my OS when no one else needed it. I fucking hate feral though.
The raid went super well. I was nervous because since 2005 until now I have never even healed period, much less a raid. I was top healing in a few fights and we 1 shot every boss in kara except shade and netherspite. We got those down too though (netherspite was our first time killing - he’s been giving us problems). Netherspite fight was nuts, me and the priest had over 350k healing each, and our third healer had 100k lol. I topped healing in a few fights but it’s hard to compete with the priests burst healing, I was overhealing like nuts.
It’s a completely different style of healing than in 5 man normal dungeons. You can’t space out for a half second or fat finger anything or someone dies. It’s crazy. Lots more regrowths and stuff too. In the raid, I just let the priest do all the direct healing and tried to keep people topped off with hots, and that started working really really well.
I hope we always bring a 3rd offhealer from now on. That raid is completely trivial that way.
Anyway think the druid will probably become my main. He’s so much better geared than the hunter already, it’s insane.

Wow 20 hours watch it. Still enjoying the game but starting to run out of things to do especially solo. The primal grind is… something. Probably going to buy 2k gold for $ I mean I’m 45 years old I’m not going to fight over magekillers with 20 other people, my server is packed. Kara tonight so should be interesting. Would be fairly surprised if I’m still playing in a month but we’ll see.
Are all the releases going to be as slow as the first time? So like wrath of lich king is a few years away? I don’t remember the timeline.
Yeah did 10/11 kara last night think I’m leaning towards done, seen it all other than mag, the thought of eternally grinding nethers for gold or to enchant things seems pretty rough. Like 5 pieces of my BIS is crafted and I’ll need like 40 shadow/spellcloth. How the fuck do I get that? Play 8+ hours a day (grind) or buy gold right? IDK have 2 weeks on sub so will decide then.
Level 43, working hard! (found some guides, questing with Questie and just the OP of warlock = 2 hours per level if I don’t stop to level tailoring/enchanting, which I have). Already planning a druid, but that’s for later. Can’t get to TBC fast enough though, I played through all this stuff so much way back when that it’s almost second nature.

Wrath came out like 19 months after tbc. Fairly quick in my opinion.
Grue, I get it, but man I’m really not running out of things to do. Just farming gold for gems/consumables/enchants to run heroics and raids is a lot of stuff to do. There’s rep grinds - I got exalted keepers of time from running black morass to get my healing trinket (still no sight of it after 40+ runs which seems statistically unlikely at a 16% droprate). Got revered with all factions so I can run every heroic. Btw - heroics are far more challenging than karazhan right now. Highly recommend it for the gear and the challenge. It really feels like end game content right now. In later phases, I know they become trivial, but right now they’re extremely difficult with people’s current levels of gear.
Idk I’m having a blast still. Haven’t even touched pvp yet - was excited about the new bg queue they implemented but apparently it was a test run and ends today :/ I want to pvp on both toons but I literally haven’t had the time. I feel like there’s so much to do honestly, but I understand if people become bored or tired of it. I love the grind personally. It’s a huge time suck and that’s exactly what I want right now.
Almost 1400 healing after getting some epic healing legs off heroic slave pens last boss, a few epic gems, the neck piece you get off of badges, and a few other pieces. I have 450 mp5 and feel like I can’t run out of mana. druid’s way more geared than the hunter now, I guess it is my main. all the officers in my guild telling me I’m far better on the druid than the hunter and seem to enjoy it more, and have found my “niche” by pure accident. It’s funny I was gonna tank on this character (coincidentally I have a tanking set and have tanked a few dungeons over the weekend) but my guild leader said healer made more sense so I was like ya, sure, I’ll try it. Ended up fuckin loving it.
Yea. I swear if people didn’t tell me it drops here, I wouldn’t believe it does. This is so statistically unlikely. I’m using a level 61 healing trinket right now. The biggest reason I want it is because with haste it reduces my gcd and I’m mostly hampered by that in fights where the healing is really touch and go. I’m also spamming a lot of spells so it should proc fairly reliably. A split second off my gcd can be the diff between a tank dying and not. When I get bloodlust or anything like that I become a beast. I might go for that other trinket though lol, was considering it honestly. My other trinket is lower city prayerbook. I’m being stubborn as hell though. I got so irritated at the drops I started reserving hourglass on my runs for guildies that needed it, so these runs wouldn’t be a “waste.” Got 2 guildies their hourglass, 1 guy got his latros, and 1 hourglass for myself (offspec lmao).
I probably end up just going for that other trinket. I got 24 badges yesterday. Shouldn’t be a problem getting them because I have a dedicated heroic spam tank and a really good hunter to go with.
