Working out / health and fitness

Thx anyway. I’ll try it some time, can’t see what the harm would be if I drink a reasonable amount in only those situations. I had a bad case of diarrhea last week, so I bought Trioral packets in case I continued losing water. Didn’t end up needing them, but they may prove handy. The packet says to use under the supervision of a doctor, but it probably has to say that for the lowest common denominator.

I usually just tell people to water down some Gatorade (1 cup water, 1 cup Gatorade) for oral rehydration for diarrhea or whatever in the ER. Ends up being close enough

Interesting, I pulled up the nutrition facts of Gatorade Classic and I wouldn’t have guessed it to be good:

0.44g/L sodium compared to the WHO’s 2.6
0.14g/L potassium compared to 1.5
58g/L fructose compared to 13.5g glucose

Me too. I can just imagine the loco rant that this would have inspired. It’s basically the same as what spidercrab is saying, but with that unique loco flavor.

This video goes deep into exposing the Liver King fraud. Crazy stuff.

Nice to see Rogan opining on a topic he actually knows something about - steroids.

I’d love to see some alternate universe where say Cenk Uygur is saying all kinds of nonsense about steroids on his podcast - like he read somewhere that steroids make you grow a vagina in your armpit. No really, it’s happening, research that shit bro.

So Rogan calls in to set him straight. Cenk laughs at him, calls him an idiot, and hangs up.

I think I could die happy at that point.

One thing the more plates more dates guy agrees with is liver. He says he eats one oz of liver/day. And you can do supplements if you hate the taste of liver.

Anyone here do this, know the benefits, etc? Why do I need micronutrients if I take a vitamin supplement?

Do you mind if we dance wif yo dates?

Anyone into cycling, running, or rowing should watch this movie imo.

A college freshman joins her university’s rowing team and undertakes an obsessive physical and psychological journey to make it to the top varsity boat, no matter the cost.

Somehow improves upon the experience of Whiplash and the obsessive drive to always be a tiny bit better.

Interesting - ratings appear to be very mixed!

Not sure if serious or god tier troll response referencing the movie and obsession with perfection

regarding people being like “no shit hes not natural”, i mean theres people who still think the rock is natural so im sure theres people that will think liverking was natural.

I was being serious and making the trivial observation that the rotten tomato rating is fantastic but there others are weak.

Also very sad to find out bronkaid max now requires an RX, RIP to easy cuts with an ECA stack.

6.5/10 on IMDB is about as close to a perfect score as a movie can get without Shawshank in the title

I find it easier to just have a shit diet at maintenance. Then if I want to cut, I only need to barely pay attention to my diet and cut out some salt for a mini whoosh. Might order pizza tonight now that I think about it.

No excuses wow. Loses all four limbs and still runs a better mile than I ever will.

Those damn dopey doctors. So what are the symptoms of meningitis?

Basically other than the rash and seizures - every other kind of being sick.

Man that is brutal. I had meningitis when I was a baby, spent some time in the hospital and permanently lost hearing in one ear.
