I don’t mind winter but it’s summer now so ask me again in 6 months.

CORRECT TAKE: good and bad weather is more frequently determined by wet vs dry, not cold vs hot. 35F and dry is delightfully crisp. 35F and raining is miserable. 100F and dry is fine. 100F and humid is unbearable.

sellout using fahrenheit

Well, having followed the sort of people Americans elect to high office, I’m not all that confident in their abillity to do math.1

1 Sellout using “math” instead of “maths”.

Looks like the inside of a single pane window in winter when you have a lot of moisture inside the house.

Source: my bedroom growing up.
Secondary source: my current single-pane windows and doors.

I thought maybe it was a frozen fart?

What? It’s been that for a few weeks here and it’s fucking freezing.

35F is a lovely Midwestern winter day; about where I downgrade from a proper winter coat to a hoodie.

it’s all about wind chill

From November to March, Cleveland can remain below freezing all day long. The city typically has 36 days a year when the temperature never rises above 32 °F.

Am literally in the process of moving south and my only regret is not doing it sooner.

What part of the south?

Charleston

That’s a great city. Good food, nice beaches, decent art scene.
