Yeah, I vaguely knew the song “Ordinary World” but didn’t even know it was Duran Duran until just now. “Planet Earth”, “Girls On Film”, “Hungry Like The Wolf” etc, on the other hand, like duh, that’s Duran Duran.

Same. I was like, “I don’t even know that song!”, but I did. Just had no idea it was Duran Duran. Honestly I didn’t even know they kept recording new music after the 80’s.

Guarantee you that’s not true, they’re one of those bands. Play a few of their big ones from the '80s and you’ll realise you know at least one of them, almost surely.
