With the first two tests, I sucked in the beginning because I was focusing too much. I did better when I focused less and just chose which one sounded better.
Was basically guessing for the third test as I’d forget what the first one sounded like after the third one finished playing.
They do say it’s in beta. I would be surprised if 100 is actually average among the general population. ZZ’s 102 is the highest I’ve seen out of 4 results.
I feel like I ran a little bad because in the last two tests I had a pretty good handle on when I didn’t know the answer and I got it wrong basically every time lol. When I was confident in the answer I think it was only wrong once.
Also I feel like I could have scored 100% on beat alignment if I’d been able to listen to the music without the beep track first. Sometimes it was hard to listen through the beeps to what the beat was actually supposed to be.
They also say that 100 is average among people who took the test. But I have to imagine musicians and music nerds are more likely to click through and complete a 20 minute listening test. I bet my wife would score around 50 or 60 but she also wouldn’t bother taking the quiz in the first place.
ok I know that if snooker / 3-cushion / straight pool / 9-ball are like chess then 8-ball is like cards against humanity or whatever, but still I end up watching this like once a year and am yet to be disappointed
Perfectly average with a 100! Enjoyed it. A bit disappointed in my results as I always thought I had a pretty good ear, particularly for things being in/out of tune. Oops. Maybe I’d have done better with headphones (was listening from my phone speaker while cooking)
Woof. Although not sure how anyone call tell if that annoying beeping is in alignment or not. I also misclicked once on the melody part or would have had a slightly higher score for that category.
