The legal system is too mature, with too many contradictory case law outcomes and too many addendums to amendments to regulations. At this point the legal system in which business is conducted is a rent seeking mechanism for lawyers, not a system for deliberatively resolving disputes. Thatās why the outcomes are erratic and non-intuitive. The purpose of the case is to create billable hours, not a sensible outcome.

While Iām in a ranting mood, the three primary threads are a mess. Anyone in favor of closing NH and Iowa to funnel discussions back to the main thread? I donāt mind the Gameday threads but now that weāre well past the votes itās hard to figure out which conversation is taking place in which thread.
