Ocean’s Eleven is more of a heist movie that takes place in a casino than about gambling, but whatever. Casino takes place in a casino but is barely about gambling, but it’d be dumb not to include it, so okay, both are great gambling movies.

When I saw they had included Let It Ride I knew the list was OK.

Mississippi grind is a legit excellent movie, it just happens to involve gambling. Ben Mendelson kills it as usual.

The Gambler (with James Caan) is very good.
I think the advent of the lawyer into politics has been largely detrimental in the UK. Having people who can convincingly argue either side of an argument has only exacerbated the lack of trust people have in politicians here.
