A few weeks ago I got gas next to another guy with the same car as mine in Baker, CA - out in the desert. I asked what the thing on the side of his roof rack was - it’s an awning. He said it’s great for when they go shooting. Apparently his hobby is to shoot sniper rifles out in the desert. But he was very quick to add “it’s just for fun”.
I wouldn’t have thought much of it except the guy’s arms and neck were covered in weird celtic rune (or something similar looking) tattoos. Which seemed odd for a middle-aged shlubby guy. Definitely not hipster.

As someone who is part Celtic/part Norwegian, it infuriates me to no end that so much of their art and imagery has been appropriated by the alt-right and is now synonymous with militant white trash dipshits. You see a guy with runic tattoos and it’s like “pretty sure he’s a Nazi.” Pretty sure the Norwegians lined up Quisling assholes like these up against the wall. Pretty sure there were quite a few Irish/Scots/Welsh storming the beaches at Normandy. Also why does that guy have a chef hat on.

I knew this had to come at some point - the current situation with politicians and political media figures getting ratioed and dunked on was unsustainable. No replies at all or only letting followers reply is going to make political twitter exponentially worse.
Can people follow whoever they want? I don’t have a Twitter so no clue how it actually works.
Seems like making a controversial statement that people want to dunk on and then forcing them to follow you to dunk on it is an awesome way to wrack up huge follower numbers. What could go wrong?
