The blurb about 15 card pan, or pip, was added by my group. I don’t think anybody else plays it like that. Think we may have invented it.
This is so weird. Somehow two healthy adults, a baby, and a dog all supposedly died of heat stroke. Well the dog’s cause of death wasn’t stated.

Actor and producer Alec Baldwin shot two people on a film set in New Mexico on Thursday. One person died and another is undergoing treatment for his injuries, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
I remember when I was in college, Brandon Lee died during the filming of The Crow, in a similar “fake gun” situation. How on earth does this happen more than once?
I don’t know anything about how movies are filmed, but how come he shot two directors instead of other actors?
Could have been a malfunction too right? Like the gun explodes?

I predict this story quickly becomes about Alec Baldwin being actually crazy. No way this happens if anyone is following protocol.

Just depends on what angle they were filming the scene from. Could just be getting an angle with Baldwin looking and shooting towards a camera.

It’s a dumb thing to focus on but doesn’t the word misfired mean failed to fire? I’d guess it might be a while before there’s a more detailed explanation of what exactly happened.
Lock of the year: People will claim this is a hoax perpetrated by liberal Hollywood to push for gun legislation.
Obviously what they needed was a Good Guy With A Gun to take out Baldwin before he could hurt innocent people. When will liberals learn!
Those aren’t actors, those are crisis actors!

Local shool board elections are coming up in a couple of weeks, and they’ve gotten insanely political. These are going out in the mail:
There are signs up all over the place, rivaling the number you’d see at the height of the 2020 election. And it turns out that one local person–complaining that our right-wing board isn’t right-wing enough–has donated $10,000 each to the two most extreme candidates. Just a complete shitshow.
