Wow, doubling the amount of time he spends on “his life’s most important work”

Jeff Bezos has long dedicated Wednesday afternoons to either updates or discussions at Blue Origin, people familiar with the situation told CNBC.

In the past month Bezos added Tuesday afternoons as well, those people said, effectively doubling the amount of time he spends each week with his space company.

Workin’ hard there Jeff.

When someone is learning English and their speech is choppy what is that called

Broken English?

Is there a better way to put it? Like a more official way?

I want to explain it to someone with broken English

Sounds like the opposite of fluency in the literal sense. That is, speaking with hesitation.

Broken might be offensive in that case. Idk, second language? Pidgin probably just as bad. Non-native? Sorry, probably not useful.

It’s called “Not being proper” but we would also take offence to that statement because most people do not learn Proper English here as its mostly only taught in private education.

Also the English language is spoken in a different tone and dialect throughout the United Kingdom and Isles, what is heard as English in Yorkshire will be different from what’s heard in Sussex.

Therefore most English speaking people take offence to the Private schools definition of Proper, I think.

Found this while looking for a fun video to show you…

I like how the white car, despite coming within inches of getting completely obliterated, slows down but does not actually bother to stop.

Darwin, you say? (hope they’re alright)

I’m having trouble paying my rent. Landlord will not accept a paper check. They seem to want an electronic transfer directly to their bank account. Ok, so how about Zelle? “No.” How about a wire transfer? “Umm, just use ‘online bill pay’.” If I go through my bank’s online bill pay process, I eventually get to a screen where it says a paper check will be sent to the payee. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Don’t give ins0 any ideas, he might be lurking
