No amount of enthusiasm from coastal voters will reduce the number of reliably racist idiot white people in the 5 states that matter. It’s all basically up to midwestern suburban women to lie to their idiot husbands and vote against Trump.
I’ll be fine if we don’t get there. I just acknowledge that this situation has a lot more reasons for the GOP to be terrified than us. And that’s obviously how they see it too from all the ‘retirements’.
Long term, I’m not even worried about enthusiasm. We will have plenty of that once Trump wins next year and finishes skullfucking the country.
I’m worried about vote suppression. Court after court is letting these states purge voter rolls due to “inactivity” ie “they dared to skip an election so they obviously need to re-register because of reasons.” Sounds harmless enough, until these voters discover the Byzantine hoops they’re required to jump through in order to register again. Enough people will just say “fuck it” on the margins to keep us in minority rule in perpetuity.
I mean if you’re running against Trump obv don’t concede anything. And nobody who gets the nomination will say the economy is good. But if you ask people how the economy is doing close to a record number say good. If conditions stay the same it will be a lot harder for dems to win a referendum on the economy than on Trump’s behavior.
That’s just a straight up lie. Dems flipped 7 governorships, republicans 1.
Dems flipped 6 state legislatures, republicans 0.
Don’t let facts get in the way of a good bedwetting.

My god, that team of social media managers is going to be BUSY
I miss the “if Democrats acted like Republicans” thread from 2+2. It’s the best exercise to illustrate how gutless and hopeless Democrats are.
OK, AL, LA, TX
Big ups to Senor Keeeeeed for his steadfast support of Tulsi Gabbard. I eagerly await his hot take for why it’s “actually” good that she took a bold principled stand of — checks notes — Present on impeachment.
I have a feeling you’re either trolling or too dumb to know the difference. But you said republicans “took” 2 senate seats AND a bunch of governorship/ legislatures. That’s wrong. If you are talking about total seats won you should have said republicans “took” 11 senate seats because that’s how many they won including the ones they defended. That would have been a really, really dumb way to word it but at least there is a possible interpretation that makes it correct. Lol at ME flipping the goal posts. The only way your sentence
is correct is literally to change the meaning of “took” after the word and. Come on son.
I’m sure you’ll still be lying and blaming others for your mistakes after Trump is gone.
Lol, good day then. Just a parting tip, if you say one thing but really meant something else, just admit your mistake when it’s pointed out. It might be tempting to double down or strain credulity to try and find a possible way out. But you’ll just end up looking like a dumb ass again.
Interesting to see a gap among the younger generations where the generic member is more likely to approve of Donald Trump than registered voters. It’s like the 4chan gap. People too busy playing Call of Duty to vote.
ETA: Actually, I’d bet that gap would not have existed if the survey was done in November 2016. The new registrations among the younger generations have disproportionately been people disgusted into action by the Trump admin.
Meaning wasn’t obvious dumbass. That’s the problem. It’s impossible to tell what your incoherent crap means. The mere fact that you had to go look up the results proves my point. You were just spouting nonsense. Do that on 2+2 please and not here.
who the fuck is a liberal, then?
60%(or more. this is just a random number to assist in the point I’m trying to make) of the nation should be progressive based solely on class. But we’ve got peeps suggesting to the GOP the possibility of a makeover – an improved attractiveness to the opposite sexes LGBTQ, by means of re-imagining that pesky homophobia plank of their political platform.
you cannot make this shit up.
