Steyer surging

That is only early primary voters but yeah wtf @ steyer, he was only at 4/5 in SC basically.

$ works though, bloomberg is also at like 5-7 somewhere nationally from all that $ spent.

You have to think actual enthusiasm to actually get out and vote is on Bernieā€™s voters side over Biden so if he can pull even in the polls he should win.

btw, for those terrified of the UK results, UK is a lot whiter and older than US is. Still, Wisconsin is gonna be a fucking bitch.

The top candidates this go around are a lot more known than that field. ie, barring something ridiculous Biden in the polls is going to lead until at least after Iowa results. (which heā€™s not expected to winā€“but he just has to not get klobbered)

The Midwest in general sucks. Need to get to the point where we are fighting in Texas and Georgia because eventually we are going to lose Pennsylvania/Wisconsin/Michigan for good like Iowa and Ohio. Too many white people.

Texas could be in play right now if Beto hadnā€™t gone full Leroy Jenkins.

GA is within reach though but Clinton got more black % votes than Abrams did, so Iā€™m kinda :/. Trump doesnā€™t need much more of that vote than 16 to hang on there this election.

Minnesota isnā€™t much better than those three.

NH/Maine are whiter than that group is; but Rā€™s seem to be bailing on NH atm.

On the plus side, Arizona is very competitive.

Haha amazing.

I just got the email as well. Hereā€™s the text:

Now, I am not entirely sure what happens when people pay huge sums of money to have dinner with a candidate at a wine cave with ā€œ1,500 Swarovski crystals,ā€ but I would guess they are not talking about standing up to the greed of the billionaire class of this country.

Needless to say, we will never have a fundraiser at a wine cave. But we do need your help to fight back against the wine cave money flooding into this race to stop us. So weā€™re asking:

What is the defense for this? I scrolled and couldnā€™t find any, are they all buried?

Not for anything but basically everyone before Bernie was doing this kind of fundraising. Obama did it. You almost had to, after the demise of unions as a major player, the effort to get a ton of small donors before the advent of the internet and the ability to do small transactions over the internet was very difficult. Bernieā€™s really the one that found the new donor model of lots of small reoccurring donations that matches the small d democratic ethos of Democrats.

Very on brand, Pete. Finger on the pulse.

Pete is such a loser and if this was a fair world his campaign would permanently end his political career.

So in this timeline he is 90% or so to become president.

I mean put aside everything else that sucks about him. The fact he could walk into that setting (with photographers!) and not immediately say ā€œoh shitā€ and walk out is all you need to know.

What a coincidence he spouts GOP talking points constantly.

People, itā€™s ABOUT FUCKING MONEY. Any time one of these fuckers is talking about anything else, turn your ears off.
