Imo the volume of preposterous takes coming out of the papers of records, such as this and the Brett Stephens bedbug thing, is a conscious editorial decision for outrage clicks. No sane editor reads Liz Warrenās instragram selfies are the new Frederick Douglass daguerreotypes and thinks this is an insightful comparison worthy of publication. I can see one person having this dumb idea and thinking itās great, but it canāt actually clear a quality screen, unless the quality sought is provocative stupidity.
