And to think if you cite Politifact conservatives scream fake news. They’re right but for the wrong reasons like every other time they’re accidentally right. If there has been another.

What a disgusting tweet.

Of all the useless DC press types, this guy might be the absolute worst. He does this shit every single day. Never any analysis, just amplifying lies.

My friend who’s a deputy San Diego city clerk gets so triggered by anything Navarro-related. He was such an ass when he was here basically being a gadfly and constantly running for office (and losing, lol). He’s the definition of grifter.

from the wiki about him:

While teaching at UC Irvine, Navarro ran unsuccessfully for office in San Diego, California, five times. In 1992, he ran for mayor, finishing first (38.2%) in the primary, but lost with 48% to Susan Golding in the runoff. During his mayoral campaign, Navarro ran on a no-growth platform. He paid $4,000 in fines and court costs for violating city and state election laws.

In 1993, he ran for San Diego city council, and in 1994 for San Diego County board of supervisors, losing each time. In 1996, he ran for the 49th Congressional District as the Democratic Party nominee, touting himself as an environmental activist, but lost to Republican Brian Bilbray, 52.7% to 41.9%. In 2001, Navarro ran in a special election to fill the District 6 San Diego city council seat, but lost in a special election with 7.85% of the vote. Veteran political consultant Larry Remer, who ran two of Navarro’s campaigns, describes him as “the biggest asshole I’ve ever known.”

Dude ran as a democrat and environmental activist. Such a goddamn loser. I semi-remember him from 1992, when I was at UCSD. If he ran as a democrat I may have voted for him, as I don’t vote for republicans.

I think it was more like he ran as “whatever could get his name on the ballot and pull in donations”

I should just post the link to the article, but I’m lazy and didn’t read it anyway.

This is another in a long list of problems that the US insists just cannot possibly be solved, but has been basically solved elsewhere. Canada’s public broadcaster has a budget that exceeds America’s. The BBC has been in operation basically forever. This isn’t hard guys.

Yea, I doubt it’s really worth reading, but the idea that those media sites really aren’t in the same industry, or competing for the same things, is pretty interesting.

CNN cover right now! We live in the Onion.

Holy shit, CNN is actually calling them “lies,” someone tell WaPo’s fack-checker guy.

“I have reviewed CNN’s designation of the President’s statements as “lies.” CNN was not present and was unable to follow up with the president to determine if he, in fact, was knowingly making incorrect statements or was simply misinformed. CNN receives two Pinocchios.”
