Brooke Baldwin announced today on CNN that she would be leaving the network in mid-April. She says she doesn’t have a new job lined up. I’m assuming its a mutual consent type of thing. Though I don’t know anyone who worked with her, she always struck me as an old school kind of anchor… a Rhonda Burgundy type if you will. These days, I think places like CNN and MSNBC are looking more for anchors who can think on their feet and do good interviews. The days of just looking good while reading copy are done.
