Yes, I’m sure those discussions were completely in good faith and not at all an attempt to kill some clock on the Biden presidency.
Ha ha ha, I am regularly confused but I have never been close to as confused as David Brooks evidently is.
here’s some GOOD media work! This CNN reporter totally cucks proud boy bigwig Joseph Biggs (see around 1:15 in)
Life coaches and real estate agents are starting to make lawyers look good in comparison.
Well, Mentally Ill Fascist technically is a “kind of lawmaker”.
When will Biden get serious about this! He’s literally the worst!
what would megan mccain be doing today if her parents had just been median white people?
Lol this guy is 37??!!
Yikes. Evil really does age you, I guess.
There used to be a great website for keeping up on politics and news, great memes. But since Biden got elected it’s deteriorating into a petty squabble site.
Thanks Joebama
There are two kinds of people in the world: Those who divide the world into six kinds of people, and those who don’t.
I sent that to my buddy awhile ago and he asked, “Look in the mirror lately?”
I am very tilted by this article:
#1 - Look at the headline, then look at the graph of which states they say have the highest percentage of outbound moves: New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Louisiana, West Virginia. What about the headline? Oh, California is in the top two states with the most TOTAL moves out of state. I WONDER WHY THAT MIGHT BE OH LETS CHECK WHICH STATES ARE THE MOST POPULOUS
#2 - These statistics are drawn from Atlas Van Lines, whose CEO had this to say: “New York and California had much higher outbound activity,” said Barry Schellenberg, Atlas Van Lines president. “It could be the cost of living, tax rates or the political climate, perhaps.” JFC.
#3 - Right up front in the article: “By October, 8.93 million people had moved since the pandemic began in March, according to an analysis of United States Postal Service change of address requests by the National Association of Realtors. That’s an increase of nearly 94,000 from the same period the year before.” THAT IS A 1% INCREASE MOTHERFUCKERS JESUS CHRIST.
#4:
Barbara Dopp, an agent with Keller Williams Realty Boise, said that her team had their best year ever in 2020 and half their sales were to buyers coming from out of state.
“I had people calling me, primarily from California and Washington, and they would say, ‘I just have to get out,’” Dopp said. “We are a conservative state and people are attracted to that.”
She said buyers coming to Idaho were looking to get away from changes in taxes, local ordinances or the curriculum taught in schools – and they were seeking more safety, she said.
“Their perception was that it wasn’t safe to walk their streets, that things had changed and they weren’t going back,” she said.
Fuck you Barbara.
And then at the end of the article they talk about how much cheaper it is in these non-California and New York states. WHICH IS STILL MOOT BECAUSE THE BASIC PREMISE IS FALSE
