What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas. Except Threesomes.

The Cosmo has a really nice food court, and most of it is reasonably priced. During my last trip of 6 days, I probably got at least four different meals from the food court. It’s also fairly close to both Bellagio and Aria.

Barry’s Steakhouse? Went there over the summer for a birthday party and it was great. Dark and vibey, good menu. Great martini.

Also got Covid there yay

I am also in Vegas until Thurs for a trade show, if anyone wants to meet up and buy me a beer I’d be down.

Confirmed excellent. Covid tbd.

Is this place also known as Barry’s Downtown Prime?

Yeah! It’s down an escalator, below the casino.

I’m in the Wynn poker room and Sklansky’s at the table next to me looking like a disheveled mess. Like he just came out of the dryer.

Must not have any underage or mentally disabled girlfriends at the house to do the wash.

If only you had asked him whether it’s appropriate to push all in preflop with JJ vs AK.

Or was that a Mason lol thread

Still planning my summer excursion out there, anyone else going to Vegas during the series?

I am sadly leaving Las Vegas May 1st. 12 years here and I definitely regret not playing more poker. Looks like closest poker to me will be about 90 minutes away in Milwaukee. I do plan to play a bit next month though before I leave. Not this year but in future years I will show up for a week or so for WSOP.

That’s how he always looks.

And every time I’ve played with Mason he legit looks like he is out of breath and going to keel over.

I’ll be there June 14 - July 2.

Gonna do a live trip report/blog thread in LVL on the old site.

I’ll be confirming the dates over the next couple weeks, would be nice to meet UP.

My ex-wife had a jewish friend who came into town and it was rough finding kosher options for us to eat at the time. I was definitely ignorant of what is kosher and the lack of options in town.

The easiest solutuon for Kosher keeping people are vegan restaurants. Not always plenty of those either though

Do they count if they’re not certified? I go to an Indian vegetarian (not vegan) restaurant sometimes that has some sort of certification from some Jewish organization (it’s in a tiny frame and visible on the wall when you enter) that their kitchen meets whatever standards are necessary to be considered Kosher.

Not sure I have ever seen that at any other vegetarian restaurant. However, if they’re automatically Kosher, it seems that getting that certification would be a nice way to attract some extra customers without actually having to do anything extra.

If you are very orthodox just being vegan wont be enough. But for most jews who keep kosher it is a good solution. Vegetarian isnt the same as dairy products can be non kosher.

Of course a lot of kosher keeping Jews would be satisfied with a vegetarian restaurant as well. The main issues are no pork, no meat and dairy products combined, no seafood (fish is okay and can be used with dairy) and kosher slaughter (dont ask).
