What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas. Except Threesomes.

Watched Saturday’s football games at the outdoor Circa pool spot. Food and drink were way overpriced of course but that was expected. My only complaint was the nightclub music blaring during every commercial. Pretty cool setup, more comfortable than standing around a sportsbook or paying a bunch for a booth/table.

Sunday we went to a sportsbar (Born and Raised) near the new Durango casino. Got a couch and table, nice chill vibe, decent food and not too busy.

Question about the sphere. Does it blast music/sound as well, or is it connected to like a local radio station that you can tune into and hear the sound?

As far as I know, the external is visual only.

I figured as much, though there is a lot of noise on the strip. If there is audio available its probably via app/FM

I just spent 5 days in Vegas. I stayed at Vdara and took a number of walks along with a few Lyfts.
The only time I saw the Sphere was on the ride from the airport to the hotel.

What did you think of Vdara? Its one of the high rises Im looking at where rent is fairly reasonable for a long term rental

I think it’s fine. It’s a short walk outside to the Aria, and you can walk along inside paths to the Cosmo (with its excellent food court), Bellagio, the tram to Park MGM, or to the Strip. There is also a market in the lobby where you can get convenience foods as well as real meals to go, at prices that aren’t too outrageous.

I’ve stayed there a few times. What features are you looking for?

One good thing is that you can do taxi/rideshare without getting into Las Vegas Boulevard, if you are looking to go off-Strip.

Anyone know if the CVS next to mgm park will sell beer?

Yes, but you’re probably better off going to the ABC store right by the pedestrian walkway for alcohol, if you’re staying around Park MGM. ABC also has one liter bottles of water at 2 for $2.

Is there a store in Vegas that doesn’t sell Alcohol?

Thanks.

That’s what I assumed but their website doesn’t list booze.

anyone tried this place?
it’s on Eater essential vegas restaurants list. Sounds weird to have a Japanese Italian restaurant in Vegas, but why not. @Ikioi any insight on italian food in japan?

He’s already posted on this topic and I’m sure he will tell you that the nice Italian restaurants there are as good as any you’ll find. I went to one in Tokyo about 15yrs ago and my experience was in line with that.

I have not been there yet, but it’s long been on my radar because of its signature uni pasta that seems right up my alley and everyone I have asked about it has spoken highly of it.

i only ate uni twice but had a mild yet noticable allergic reaction to it both times. which is weird cause i don’t think i’m allergic to any other food.

What he said.
