@StimAbuser

Can you send me a link when your friends start live streaming the shows you can’t go to anymore?

I don’t believe Russian are like that at all… they’re more like this :+1:

EJ was on Beato recently although it’s kinda boring. He mentions toward the end that he used some weird Panasonic mic preamps to track the distorted tones on Ah Via Musicom so expect those to cost $10k now.

I caught that Eric Johnson vid a week or so back :heart: And glad you like Drew Ofthe Drew. They’re fresh af!

This is another recent Beato video worth checking out, some funny Miles Davis stuff, and he gets a bit philosophical about improvisation etc :heart:

Turns out my boyee Vernon Reid plays Parker Guitars, too. Goat

Only guitar I ever regret selling was a USA Steinberger from the 80’s with the trans trem. When I see the prices now I cry. Can never sell the Parker now because of that.

Beato lost me in the EJ vid with the “music these days” stuff. There is some absolutely incredible music being made “on computers” or whatever he is implying is fake. The thing these dudes never get is that nobody wants to listen to old guys noodle on guitars except us. It’s all been done before a thousand times over, somebody gotta break new ground. And the reason it’s Skrillex (lol) is because everyone else is too busy trying to cop Jake E. Lee licks note for note while Skrillex is putting distorted robot sounds into pop music for the first time ever.

Btw I am in love with Dua Lipa. :heart_eyes: Like the old person I am, I recently bought her first album on compact disc. This cut off the new album is “computer music” but the live version they did on Fallon has a killer bass performance. She was supposed to do SNL this week and it’s obviously postponed now. Thanks Obama!
