Yes. I feel their sound has finally matured.

At #7 for 11 points is @ChrisV with Groove Armada and Suntoucher

Coming in at 6:31 and the lyrics not dropping until about the 2 minute mark, this has all the makings of a song coming in way down on a list of mine. But wow this comes together in the best of ways. Your patience is richly rewarded. Peace.

Ah. Too melodic. :t_rex:

No, they are from South Africa, not the UK.

I know :grinning:

The Groove Armada Jeru track is fire! I love that @ChrisV and @JohnnyTruant both pulled off a merging of the New York and UK categories here.

I have no idea what’s going on in this, but as some of the other stuff rated high, it’s loud, fast and fun. Pretty sure he’s goofing on us. Don’t ask him to take his coat off ladies. He’s perfectly comfortable.

Yeah this is a jam even if it’s a little overly long. Reminds of the the type of hip hop I used to like back when I listened to it more.

I havent chosen one song I wouldnt listen to myself just to pander to the walrus judge. I already decided that the next walrus I enter I take the trashiest songs I can find on my playlist.

Lol so far it seems that I again went a little too far off the board if not somehow the Beatles or at least a solo song of them appears.

This is among the newest releases on this list, and like all of MD’s other submissions, it does not disappoint. I’m not sure where you stand on points, mimosa, but I’ve probably spent more time listening to what you’ve sent (and other stuff connected to it) than anyone else’s submissions. Thank you for that. And for this.

Cheers, King. Thanks for another dope reveal. I feel lucky to have had a couple of these happening in prime evening time for me recently (hence my wine-induced insta-responses-and-hearts). Walrus is such a silly concept but I’ve loved the way it’s let me share and learn music. #NoPander!

Gonna go brush my teeth and climb in bed and see how long 6ix lasts! #NoJinx!

just off the podium at #4 for 14 points is @cassette with Crass and Banned from the Roxy

Wouldn’t be surprised if this triggered seizures in some of you. This great little song is very British, very punk, and very anarchy. You’re going to be mad after you listen to it but for all the right reasons. Written in 1978, some battles are still raging.

They said they only wanted well behaved boys
Do they think guitars and microphones are just fucking toys?
Fuck 'em, I’ve chosen to make my stand
Against what I feel is wrong with this land
